The Los Angeles Lakers are the World Champions, finishing off the Orlando Magic in five games on Sunday night to put a glorious end to the 2008-09 season.FanHouse's Matt Moore and old friend Craig Kwasniewski joined me to break down Game 5, as well as look back at how the NBA Finals unfolded. Will Stan Van Gundy ultimately be held responsible, or were the Lakers simply the more talented team this time around?
We also look ahead to next season, as both of these teams face questions about whether some of their key players will return after hitting the free agent market. The season is over but the celebration continues, after the jump.

The mayor of Los Angeles should cancel the Victory Parade and prohibit ANY public celebrations . These criminals that caused the destruction found , charged to the full extent of the law and imprisoned .

The Lakers are the team of the decade. Kobe has been just magnificent in his dedication for himself and for his team and he made Phil Jackson the winniest coach ever. No one will surpass that as we can see with who the coaches are today. Orlando was good but not good enough
for the Lakers in the finals. The Cavaliers just spent too much energy around Lebron rather than the team, otherwise they would have been in the finals with the Lakers. Oh well, see what happens
next year. Go Lakers, G Kobe, I can see it happening again with two more rings for Kobe, maybe even three.
