Yahoo! Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski had reported minutes before Indiana's pick was announced that the team would be grabbing a different senior, Sam Young of Pitt. Instead, Young might drop to the 20s. Where everyone expected Hansbrough to land.

I rooted for Michael Jordon because he played hard and was also a decent role model for kids,Vince Carter,Grant Hill,So many others,it has nothing to do with their Color they seem like good guys I'd be happy to call friend or look up to.For you to say hip hop and stereotype hip hop as being BACK only then that makes you the RACIST. I don't think it was about race that many thought he would fall late... he just didn't show the athleticism that many look for at forward... I actually think he will be a good role player and will have a long career though.

I've been a Hansbrough fan for 4 years and have watched his game develop. This kid has earned his shot at the NBA . He did what ever he had to do to develop his skills and his body to do the best job for his team. I didn't hear of another player out in the parking lot during the summer pulling SUVs around as a strengthening drill.

Larry Bird is doing what he has done ever since he has been in charge of the pacers, looking for another "Larry Bird". In the proccess he has traded away good players reguardless of race. Bird is trying to recreate another Celtic team in order to relive the glory days he had back in Boston. A fantasy surrounding himself. Indiana will never be a winning team as long as Larry Bird is there.

I can tell you do not watch much ACC basketball....tyler is the hardest working player i"ve seen in yrs. I been watching ACC for 41 yrs.........he is a cut above the r est, he will prove you everybody else wrong.
