LAS VEGAS -- Expect the Utah Jazz to match the Portland Trail Blazers' offer sheet for forward Paul Millsap. The Blazers offered Millsap a front-loaded four-year deal at about $33 million. The Jazz badly want to retain Millsap and will match if it can find a taker for Carlos Boozer.

"Jumpin'" James White, one of two summer league players with a championship ring, tallied 14 points in 18 minutes to lead Houston over Minnesota, 79-65. ...

The Timberwolves Gerald Henderson did not score in 18 minutes in his debut. And if you don't remember Henderson getting drafted by Minnesota, he didn't. He is a loan from the Charlotte Bobcats, who did not field a summer league team. ...

Jonny Flynn scored 11 points with seven assists and seven turnovers. The Timberwolves, as expected, were missing Ricky Rubio, who is expected to return to Spain. ...

George Hill dropped 25 points on New Orleans in a 92-86 San Antonio win. Rookie DeJuan Blair looked comfortable from the perimeter and in the paint, scoring 13 points with 10 rebounds off the bench. Former LSU standout Marcus Thornton led the Hornets with 22 points on 8-for-19 from the field. ...

Former UConn guard Marcus Williams set the NBA Summer League record with 17 assists in a 86-57 Memphis win over Oklahoma City. Williams, dumped by Golden State during the regular season, made a splash in his quest to return to the league. He had just one turnover in 29 minutes. The previous record of 11 was set three times by Rajon Rondo and Sebastian Telfair in 2006 and Jose Barea in 2007. It's the fifth year of the Las Vegas Summer League. ...

James Harden tallied four points and three assists in his Las Vegas debut. He played with the Thunder at the Orlando Summer League last week. ...

Brandon Jennings had a sparkling game with 23 points, eight assists and five steals in Milwaukee's 80-69 win over the Cavaliers. Rookie Danny Green scored 11 for Cleveland. ...
