UPDATE: Ali Kay, Alex von Furstenberg's fiancee allegedly sent revealing photos of her to Miller from her phone. Von Furstenberg also supposedly filled out the paperwork for a restraining order against Miller, but never filed it.

It would be hard, I imagine, to have spent this weekend on a beach in Southern California and have a bad time. Pacers legend and current TNT analyst Reggie Miller, however, probably meets the challenge.

According to various reports, a plane toting a banner which read "Reggie Miller Stop Pursuing Married Women" flew over several SoCal beaches near Miller's hometown of Malibu over the weekend, including over Hermosa during a major beach volleyball event.

Deadspin has a hunch: this might be related to a restraining order taken out (but not filed) against Miller by Alex von Furstenburg, a wealthy Malibu neighbor whose fiancée, Ali Kay, has allegedly been stalked by Miller. According to the restraining order, Miller waited an hour outside a grocery store for the lady in order to follow her home. He also sent her 53 text messages within four hours.

When von Furstenburg confronted Miller, he claims Miller threatened him.
'He said he had friends with guns. He implied I would get hurt if I didn't stop questioning him on his inappropriate pursuit of my fiancee and his attempts to subvert his efforts,' Mr von Furstenberg wrote.
After lawyers got involved, the beef was supposedly settled.

There's been no confirmation that the banner was placed by von Furstenburg or his friends. In this case, Miller ought to hope it was. The last thing he needs is a group of disgruntled men trying to publicly embarrass him.
