Welcome to the NBA FanHouse podcast, where our writers get together a few times a week to talk about everything going on in the world of hoops. Want to participate? Leave a comment, or follow us on Twitter @NBAFanHouse.
In a Wednesday edition of the HouseCast (and our first of the season), Matt Watson and Matt Moore joined me to discuss this week's Power Rankings. Of course, we couldn't do that without mentioning that once again, the top-ranked team -- Orlando, in this case -- went down the very same day the rankings were published.
We also recap a busy and interesting night of action, one where the Celtics remained dominant, the Suns remained undefeated, and the Lakers remained underwhelming, while barely surviving the Thunder in Oklahoma City.

Thanks Brett, Matt & Matt. That was interesting. If you're not getting many comments, it's probably because you guys were so thorough that there isn't much to add. You were all talking about how well Boston's starters seem to gel, but I thought an interesting stat from Boston's win over Philly is that the Boston bench outscored the Boston starters by 20 points. Do you know if anyone keeps any records on how often that happens in the NBA? I would assume that it's a rarity. And it shows that Boston is more than just the Big-3 or even the Big-5.
Also, while everyone is talking about the additions of Sheed and Marquis, the guy that has come in under the radar is Shelden Williams. He's really playing well. Let's not forget that he was a 5th overall pick in the NBA draft. Here's a trivia question for you: Only three players in ACC history have 1,500 points, 1,000 rebounds and 350 blocks. Who are they? Answer: Tim Duncan, Ralph Sampson, and Shelden Williams. ---- Perhaps he's not an NBA bust afterall. Maybe he just needed to get into the right situation.
