Little noticed from out West. Even though two games doesn't make a season, how about a little love for the Sacramento Kings. They lose by far their best player (Kevin Martin) for six to eight weeks. How do they respond? They go out a whip Utah in SLC on Saturday and come home and do the same to Golden State Sunday. Although it's a little early, pencil in Paul Westphal for coach of the year. And Tyreke Evans for rookie of the year. Remember, you heard it here first.

Hooray for the Queens they beat a bad team on the road and then a horrible team, yes you deserve all the post season awards, how many All-Stars do you want and where would you like the Larry O'Brien trophy mailed to?
After listening to this I can mark being a fly on the wall listening to two dorks talk basketball off my bucket list.

I'll lay money down that Tyreke Evans is in the top 5 for rookie of the year at the end of the season. And Westphal is doing a fine job getting the team to play hard, something they failed to do all last year. And you think we should listen to your "all Kobe, all the time" garbage. No thank you!

I find it hysterical how Laker fans are always called front runners.Like every other teams arenas are packed with die hard fans, but the Lakers only get front runners.
Oh, I'm sorry, if 9 championships in the past 30 seasons makes me a front runner then color me GUILTY.
By the way, I don't ever want the Lakers to have a rookie of the year because typically rookies only get playing time on teams that suck or aren't championship material.
You should be glad I even talk about the Queens, I mean we used to have a bit of a rivalry, but now you guys suck again and the Lakers are TOP OF THE WORLD...AGAIN!
And, whats with the Queens and DUI's?

Hey, real sports fans recognize good play and good players, wherever they are. They appreciate a team that doesn't have the superstars but does hustle and work hard. Every team has die-hard fans who are worthy of respect. If we don't have a rivalry with the Lakers anymore, why do you still spend your time insulting the Kings and their fans? Because you're an ignorant front-runner who piles on when it isn't necessary, that's why. And by the way, in the sleaze department, Nocioni's DUI doesn't compare to Kobe's affair d' Colorado.

The Wizards are 2 - 6, Gilbert Arenas is 6`4, the Wiz ought to add last season`s starting east all star small guard, Allen Iverson, to their starting backcourt, let in finish out his career in GeorgeTown. If he gets healthy and/or if he receives any all star votes, the Nba should count them in the east, like they did last season, when Jose Calderon should have started but didn`t even make the team. As for the Knicks, their best scorer last season was their wing forward. Their weakest positions are wing guard and, for a conventional team, center. Maybe they should be lusting after Dwayne Wade, who will presumably stay in Miami, and/or Joe Johnson, who will presumably stay in Atlanta. Why give up warm winters and a winning team? Or they could trade for a wing guard, and lure a free agent to replace the guy they give up. And folks assume Shaq and El Zyd will be let go by the Cavs, the has been city should love signing those Cavs! James isn`t worn out enough yet to consider New York City. Of course, neither, it turned out, was Grant Hill, this summer, either!
